Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Travel, including the Travel iOS app, website, and related services (together, the “Service”).

Travel is operated by Stepan Gritsun as an individual. Travel is not currently operated by a registered company.

By accessing or using Travel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. The Service

Travel is an iOS app that helps users manage trips, view itineraries, access transport-related information, receive alerts, use local travel features, store or open ticket-related information, submit reports, and share trip or location information with friends.

Travel is not an airline, railway company, bus operator, taxi company, travel agency, ticket seller, airport, public transport authority, emergency service, or government agency.

Travel does not currently sell transport tickets directly.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Travel, unless a higher minimum age applies in your country.

If you are under 18, you may only use Travel with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By using Travel, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the legal ability to agree to these Terms.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You may create an account using Apple, Google, email and password, or another supported login method.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and be responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

You may not share your account with others or use another person’s account without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, abuse the Service, or are used unlawfully.

4. iOS App and App Store Terms

Travel is currently available only on iOS.

Your use of the Travel iOS app may also be subject to Apple’s App Store terms, Apple’s standard licensed application terms, and applicable Apple policies. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s mandatory terms, Apple’s mandatory terms will apply where required.

Apple is not responsible for Travel, its content, support, claims, or services, except where Apple’s own terms say otherwise.

5. License

Subject to these Terms, Travel grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful personal use.

You may not:

  • copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from Travel, except where allowed by law;

  • sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit Travel without permission;

  • interfere with Travel’s systems, APIs, or security;

  • use automated scraping, bots, or abusive access methods;

  • use Travel to violate laws or third-party rights.

6. Travel Information and Accuracy

Travel may provide information about trips, routes, public transport, places, weather, tickets, delays, disruptions, safety reports, estimated timings, and other travel-related content.

Travel may rely on third-party sources, public data, user reports, AI systems, and external providers. This information may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or outdated.

You are responsible for verifying important travel information with official sources, including transport operators, airports, stations, ticket providers, public authorities, and emergency services.

You should not rely on Travel as your only source for critical travel, safety, ticketing, timing, legal, immigration, emergency, or financial decisions.

7. Tickets and Bookings

Travel may allow you to add, store, view, organize, or open ticket-related information, booking references, or itinerary details.

Travel does not currently sell transport tickets directly.

Travel is not responsible for ticket validity, fare rules, missed departures, denied boarding, cancellations, refunds, booking errors, provider outages, or changes made by transport operators or ticket sellers.

Any ticket purchase, booking, refund, cancellation, or transport contract is between you and the relevant third-party provider.

8. Location Features and Sharing

Travel may include location-based features, background tracking, live trip status, and sharing with friends.

You control whether to enable location access, background location, and sharing features. You can change permissions in iOS settings.

You may not use Travel to:

  • track someone without their knowledge or consent;

  • stalk, harass, threaten, or monitor another person;

  • share another person’s private information without permission;

  • create safety risks for yourself or others.

Travel may suspend or remove access to sharing features if they are abused.

9. Friends and Social Features

Travel may allow users to connect with friends, share trips, share location, view travel status, send invitations, or interact through social features.

You are responsible for choosing who you connect with and what you share. Travel is not responsible for the actions of other users.

We may limit, block, remove, or moderate social features where necessary for safety, privacy, security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

10. User Content

You may submit reports, comments, feedback, incident information, delay reports, safety alerts, descriptions, or other content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant Travel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, copy, display, modify, distribute, and process that content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting Travel.

You may not submit User Content that:

  • is false, misleading, or intentionally inaccurate;

  • is illegal, abusive, threatening, hateful, or defamatory;

  • violates privacy or data protection rights;

  • reveals private information about another person without permission;

  • infringes intellectual property rights;

  • contains spam, malware, scams, or harmful material;

  • creates safety risks.

Travel may remove, edit, restrict, or moderate User Content at any time.

11. AI Features

Travel may use AI systems, including OpenAI and Perplexity Sonar, to provide recommendations, predictions, summaries, explanations, notifications, or contextual travel information.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. You should verify important information before relying on it.

You may not use AI features to generate or submit illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content.

Travel may change, limit, or disable AI features at any time.

12. Third-Party Services

Travel uses third-party services to provide authentication, infrastructure, email, maps, weather, notifications, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting, feedback, AI, places, public information, and transport-related data.

These services include or may include:

  • Auth0;

  • Convex;

  • Resend;

  • Apple MapKit;

  • Apple WeatherKit;

  • Sign in with Apple;

  • Google login through Auth0;

  • Apple Push Notification service;

  • Apple StoreKit;

  • RevenueCat;

  • Sentry;

  • Shake;

  • OpenAI;

  • Perplexity Sonar;

  • Foursquare;

  • Wikipedia and Wikimedia APIs;

  • FGC;

  • TMB.

Travel is not responsible for third-party services, data sources, outages, errors, terms, policies, or decisions.

13. Payments and Subscriptions

Travel does not currently charge users for subscriptions or in-app purchases.

If Travel introduces paid features, purchases may be processed through Apple StoreKit, the App Store, and/or RevenueCat. Prices, billing periods, renewals, cancellations, and refunds will be shown before purchase where required.

App Store purchases, refunds, and cancellations are generally handled by Apple according to Apple’s terms and policies.

Unless required by law, fees may be non-refundable once charged.

14. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use Travel illegally;

  • abuse, harass, threaten, or harm others;

  • submit false reports or fake transport incidents;

  • interfere with Travel’s operation;

  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, APIs, or data;

  • scrape, copy, or harvest data from Travel without permission;

  • upload malware or harmful code;

  • impersonate another person;

  • infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;

  • use Travel for surveillance, stalking, or unauthorized tracking;

  • abuse support, reporting, or feedback systems.

15. Intellectual Property

Travel, including its name, design, software, features, interface, branding, graphics, text, and other content, is owned by Stepan Gritsun or licensed to Travel, except for third-party content and User Content.

You may not use Travel’s branding, design, or content without permission, except where allowed by law.

16. Privacy

Your use of Travel is also governed by the Travel Privacy Policy, available on the Travel website.

By using Travel, you acknowledge that Travel processes personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Service Availability

Travel may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time.

Travel may be unavailable due to maintenance, bugs, outages, third-party failures, network issues, app store issues, or events outside our control.

We do not guarantee that Travel will always be available, accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

18. Disclaimers

Travel is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel makes no warranties, express or implied, about accuracy, availability, reliability, suitability for a particular purpose, transport status, location accuracy, delay predictions, AI outputs, safety reports, third-party data, or ticket and booking information.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel and Stepan Gritsun will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, opportunity, travel costs, missed transport, missed bookings, or business interruption.

Travel and Stepan Gritsun will not be liable for damages caused by inaccurate or delayed travel information, third-party services, transport operator decisions, User Content, AI-generated content, location inaccuracies, network or device problems, user misuse, or events outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travel and Stepan Gritsun from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • your misuse of Travel;

  • your violation of these Terms;

  • your violation of law;

  • your violation of another person’s rights;

  • content you submit;

  • unauthorized tracking, sharing, or reporting.

This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer protection law.

21. Termination

You may stop using Travel at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to Travel if you violate these Terms, create legal, security, privacy, or safety risks, abuse the Service, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the Service is no longer commercially or technically reasonable.

After termination, some sections of these Terms will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute provisions.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we may notify you through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method. Updated Terms become effective when posted, unless stated otherwise.

If you continue using Travel after updated Terms become effective, you accept the updated Terms.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have the right to bring claims in your local courts under applicable consumer protection law.

Where legally permitted, disputes relating to these Terms or Travel will be handled by the competent courts of Spain.
